What’s better than a piping-hot coffee on a chilly winter day? A free piping-hot coffee on a chilly winter day. That’s right—Starbucks just added some sweet perks to its December lineup, and lucky java junkies have the chance to win free coffee all month long. (Just make sure to avoid this one popular Starbucks drink when you go!)

Thanks to “Project Give Good,” loyal Starbucks fans can win big during the month of December. To qualify, simply keep an eye out for teams of baristas wearing red and green aprons at your local store. They will pop up at “community celebrations, like tree lighting ceremonies, caroling, and events featuring local pillars, like volunteers, veterans, and teachers,” and give away $1 million worth of $20 Starbucks gift cards to attendees, Food & Wine reports.

“The inspiration behind Project Give Good is simple, we want to brighten the holidays and delight our customers,” Kris Engskov, executive vice president of U.S. Retail for Starbucks, said in a press release. “We hope the gift of a Starbucks Card will give customers the opportunity to take a break or catch up with a loved one over coffee.”

But that’s not the only way to cash in on your morning brew run. With just one purchase on your Starbucks card or app, Rewards members will be automatically upgraded to Gold status for 2018. Plus, every purchase (or playing this online game!) will enter you into the Starbucks for Life sweepstakes. The lucky winners will receive free Starbucks for a week, a month, a year, or even for life.

Your java addiction just reached a whole new level. If you’re tempted to boost your odds with a daily latte, we won’t tell. Just look at it like this: You now have an excuse to try the healthiest ways to hack the Starbucks menu.
