It’s been hot hot hot this summer—so much so that when the temperature peaked at 87 degrees one recent day, I remarked on how nice the weather was.
But now that I’ve got this new handy idea via Lifehacker.com for oven-free cookies, I don’t care if it ever gets cool. Instead of baking cookies in the oven (and heating up the whole house in the process) you simply “bake” a few on the stovetop, in a skillet.
